Dr Tommy Lai

Dr Tommy graduated from Monash University in 2013 and has over 10 years of experience working as a General Practitioner. Prior to entering general practice, he gained extensive experience in a range of hospital settings across Western Australia, developing a strong foundation in acute care medicine.He further broadened his expertise with 12 months of dedicated work at Kalamunda Hospice, where he obtained a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Care, strengthening his skills in compassionate end-of-life care.Dr Tommy completed his GP specialist training in the Kimberley region, where he worked in both private practice—mentored by an experienced skin cancer GP—and within Aboriginal community health services. This has provided him with valuable experience in Aboriginal health and culturally sensitive care.He is passionate about all aspects of patient care and is known for his caring, holistic, and patient-centred approach.
